By Road.
It is a very direct route from Calais with an Autoroute available for all but the last 20 miles; you can stay on an autoroute from Calais to Hyeres.  The total distance from Calais, by Autoroute, is 750 miles.  The total cost of tolls is about £55 each way.  If you wish, after you have made a booking, you tell us that you plan to take more than one day to drive down we can offer suggestions for overnight stops.

By Train.
London (St. Pancras) to Toulon service (Eurostar and TGV) every day with just one change at Lille or at Paris with a simple undeground connection.  There are other services available with two changes.  From Paris there are TGV trains direct to Toulon.  The maximum journey time from St. Pancras to Toulon, whichever route, is no more than 9 hours. and can be much less.   Car hire is available from Toulon railway station.

By Air.
You have a choice of airports, and there is a full range of car hire companies at each.
* From Nice airport the car journey time is about 1hr 45min.
* From Marseille airport, at Marignane, the car journey time is about 2 hours on the autoroute, by-passing Marseille itself. Alternatively, and quicker, go through the Marseille tunnel; toll €3.
* From Toulon airport, which is at Hyeres, it takes no more than 30 minutes to get to the villa. There are daily, direct flights by Ryanair from Stansted to Toulon and from Bristol.  These services are not available all the year, you need to check with the Ryanair website.  Also there are frequent services to Toulon from Paris (Orly) and there are flights to Orly from some British airports. Alternatively, fly to Paris (Charles de Gaulle) and take the inter-airport bus to Orly.

Precise directions on how to find the villa, together with a sketch map, will be sent to you after the booking has been confirmed and about ten days before you are due to leave home to take up your reservation.
